You will LOVE this food!!! Nestled in Castle Hills it’s conveniently located off Parker Rd - so easily accessible! It’s a small place with some seating but the bulk of folks were taking out/to go! It’s traditional Afghani food- packed with flavor, texture, and served in a generous quantity! You MUST try the Karahi- (Goat or Chicken - can’t go wrong at all ) it’s REALLY really good!!! Pair that with the soft, fluffy, Afghani naan with the sesame seeds- oof! TooOoooo Good!! Their grilled items were amazing as well- perfectly charred (not burnt) and surprisingly not too spicy as well. The service was great - quick and friendly! They also cater for parties small or large and overall their prices were pretty reasonable! I can totally see this be a regular pick up spot for us!
I really enjoyed the food here, especially the Mutton Karahi and Chicken Tikka both were full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The spices were well-balanced, and the taste reminded me of authentic Pakistani cuisine. The naan was served fresh and complemented the dishes very well. The overall quality, portion size, and service made the experience even better. If you are looking for a place that delivers a true Pakistani taste, especially for Karahi dishes, I would definitely recommend trying this spot. Portion sizes were enough for a family of 5 for 1 karahi so order mindfully.
Shinwari Kitchen remains one of my favorite places for authentic flavors, especially their mutton karahi and Afghani naan. The mutton was tender and rich in flavor, while the naan was crispy outside & soft inside, perfectly baked—just as good as always. The malai boti was delicious, though slightly spicier than I prefer, but still enjoyable. One more observation, serving rice with malai boti was bit awkward for me. The only area where I noticed room for improvement was the service. The staff seemed a bit less attentive & seemed to watch from a distance, and I had to go to the counter a couple of times to request items or get assistance. A little more attention to checking on diners would make the experience even better. Overall, the food is consistently excellent, and I’ll definitely be back. With a bit more focus on service, Shinwari Kitchen could be perfect.

It speaks volumes if a person feels comfortable enough to eat from the Karahi itself & that too while dining it! The perfect aroma, flavour and delicious mutton shinwari karahi absolutely blew us away! To top it all! We finally have a Karahi place “open late” serving the tastiest Karahi and a variety of Pakistani food cooked to perfection! Our order included, Mutton Shinwari Karahi, Chicken Seekh Kabab, Kabab Karahi, Afghani Naan! 5 stars for the food, 5 stars to the vision of the owners Awais Chaudry for making our dining experience, one of the best! Can’t wait to be back but enjoy a Dhaba style style Patio coming soon!! The Dallas Desi Pallette has finally enhanced!

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The food? Simply outstanding. Phenomenal food! It's a small place, but bigger than their old location. It gets busy during the peak meal hours, so come early, limited seating, especially if your a group of 4 or larger. The service was limited, but hopefully they will work the wrinkles out with time. The grilled meats and the goat Karahi was definitely the showcase for the evening.
